Question: We have a kidney shaped pool; will a rectangle cover work with it?
Answer Since our safety covers have scuff pads on the bottom of the straps, you would have to get a custom cover to make sure that it lines up properly. If you do decide to go with a rectangle cover it will void the warranty.

Question: How far apart are the anchors on your safety covers?
Answer On rectangle and Grecian shaped pools the straps are 5 feet apart unless the pool is more than 1200 square feet then the straps are 3 feet apart. Most custom safety covers come with the straps 3 feet apart.

Question: Why should I go with a solid cover over a mesh or a mesh cover over a solid?
Answer With a mesh cover, the water drains into the pool which may cause it to be cloudy when the pool is opened. Since the solid cover can have more water and snow build up on it, there will be more strain on it meaning the mesh cover may last longer. Also with a solid cover less sunlight gets in the pool which should help prevent algae.

Question: Will the safety cover work if I have pavers?
Answer Drilling into pavers could crack them and also they are not sturdy enough to hold a safety cover.

Question: Can I use a safety cover with a wood deck?
Answer You can use a safety cover with a wood deck but it does take special anchors and cost a little more money. Please call us for a quote.

Question: If these covers can support so much weight why is it recommended that we do not walk on it?
Answer These covers do have some give to them which means if you were walking on it the cover surface may sag causing you to fall.

Question: How much weight will my safety cover hold?
Answer In order for it to be called a safety cover it must be able to hold the weight of 2 adults and 1 child but they usually can handle more weight than that.
