Kreepy Krauly inground swimming pool cleaner provides optimum cleaning performance, simplicity, and convenience. It features a turbo-action swivel design and a super-efficient regulator valve for more cleaning power.

1. Automatic Regulator Valve. Attaches to the skimmer suction and controls water flow - just the right amount to your Kreepy Krauly, the rest to the skimmer. The only truly self-adjusting valve that maintains proper cleaning speed.

2. Vacuum Hose. Translucent color almost "disappears" in your pool. Comes in sections to meet your pool's needs. Multi-ribbed flexibility on the outside, smooth on the inside for unrestricted water flow.

3. NEW Swivel Housing. Chamber where water flow is directed into a solid stream to pass through the hose. Special turbo design provides more vacuuming power. Swivel helps keep hose from tangling.

This cleaner is a waste of money. The flapper thing is too loud. Our neighbors could here it in their backyard.

I just read the previous review about Kreepy Krauly being loud. Either these people have it installed incorrectly, or something else is definitely wrong. We have owned an inground pool since 1983, and are only on our second Kreepy Krauly. It is almost totally silent. You have to look in the water to see it moving to know it's even there. Does a great job too - we leave it in most of the time unless small children are in the pool, and then only take it out so that children won't raise it out of the water. Completely safe and LOVE IT! We had a $1200 Aquabot that we HATED! Had to keep emptying the filter bag of nasties that it picked up, and hated the electrical cord strung across the pool deck. There is no work to this at all. put it in, plug the hose into the port, and forget about it!

I had to comment about the noise the first reviewer wrote about. The 2nd reviewer is correct. The mild tick, tick, tick is not that loud, you get used to it. Also is is a good source of troubleshooting. When the "ticks" slow down, you can figure the Creepy has picked up a foreign object in the pool. Or you need to back flush your filter. Have just put in a pool in our new house, it's been several years since I owned a creepy, maybe it has been improved. My only negative was that the "skirt" did not last more than a few years when I diamond brighted our old pool and at 45 dollars back then (1994)I thought was expensive.
